Experience the thrills of Stand Up Paddle Boarding, Kayaking, Open Water Swimming, Pedalos and from May until the end of September the Inflatable Aqua Park.

Watersport activities are using our equipment. Own launch is not allowed.

Admission into the Park covers general activities and facilities such as enclosed play park, lakeside play equipment, lakeside walks, picnic areas, toilets, car park.


Aqua Park – OPENS 23rd May!

The Aqua Park is an inflatable obstacle course on the lake that includes a variety of challenging elements for participants to enjoy with Thunderdome and Gravity Corners.

For the Aqua Park it is essential that you can swim 50m in a buoyancy aid and are confident in the water as well as being able to pull yourself up onto the obstacles. 

  • Minimum age is 8 years old

  • All participants must be over 1.2m tall

Stand Up Paddle Board

£18 per person – 55 mins

Stand up paddleboarding (SUP) is the fastest growing sport in the world for good reason.

It’s loads of fun, a great workout, and most importantly it’s easy to learn. Allowing participants both the freedom and exhilaration of being on a board, with the added benefits associated with the fitness required.

  • Suitable for 8+ children. Under 8 must be on a board with an appropriate Adult.

  • Wear appropriate clothing or wetsuit (not included)

  • PFD provided


Kayaks

Single Kayak £14.00 – 55 mins
Double Kayak £20.00 – 55 mins

Sit on Top Kayaks are very stable and manoeuvrable. They’re hard to capsize and with no entrapment risk, they are very user friendly, ideal for beginners.

Kayak watersports

Larger double size Kayaks have three seats, for upto 3 people.  Ideal for 2 adults, two adults and one younger child, or one adult and two younger children.  Well behaved dogs are welcome, and would take the space of one person.  Dogs are at owners discretion and owners are responsible for their safety.

Pedalo

Pedalo £15.00 – 25 mins
Family Pedalo £22.00 – 25 mins

This is a peddle craft with four seats on the small pedalo (2 forward facing and two backward facing). Our Large Pedalo will fit up to 5 Adult size people OR 6 Children. These Pedalo’s are the ideal boat for a family boat trip on our water sports lake! 

Popular with families, particularly those with younger children, a Pedalo is very stable and simple to use with the benefit of adjustable back rests for extra comfort.

Canoe & CATAMARAN

Canadian Canoe £20.00 – 55 mins
Catamaran £25.00 – 55 mins

Open Canadian Canoes benefit from a larger amount of space which is perfect for 2 people to enjoy. Canadian Catamarans seat up to 4 – 8 people comfortably.

The Canadian Catamaran consists of two Open Canoes braced and lashed together side by side, perfectly stable with four comfortable roto-moulded seats and room for passengers. Being a larger craft it requires 4 paddlers to operate it easily, effectively the people carrier of the lake it has proven perfect for larger families.

Open Water Swimming

Members – £4 per swim
Membership – £40 per season
Non members – £6 per swim

Our main lake is man made, a maximum depth of 7ft and a sandy bottom with no weeds. Being comparatively shallow our lake can reach 28 degrees at the height of summer, perfect for open water swimming beginners and enthusiasts. 

Accessing the lake from the slip way you join the 400m course with fluorescent markers buoys every 100m. We provide safety cover for the duration of the swim sessions. We ask that all swimmers wear brightly coloured swim caps for easy visability.

OWS Session Times:

  • Monday – Friday: 9am – 10am 

  • Saturday & Sunday: 9am – 10.30am

  • Evenings: Monday & Wednesday: 5pm – 7.30pm

Either book online or pay on arrival.  Cost of admission is not required unless staying on-site after the swimming session has finished.


Fishing

Fishing £9.00 – Day Ticket

Our fishing lake is set behind the main watersports lake surrounded by mature woodland. The 3 acre coarse lake has generous curves for serine fishing, stocked with double figure Carp as well as Tench, Roach, Rudd and Crucians to name but a few.

Rules (Dawn – Dusk)
  • Barbless hooks only

  • All fish to be returned the lake

  • No keep nets

  • Landing nets to be dipped in disinfectant

  • Hooks to be removed as carefully as possible

  • No wading

  • A current Environment Agency rod license must be held

  • Litter must be bagged and deposited in a bin

Admission does need to be booked online. However, fishing is not on our online activity booking system. Please sign in and pay at reception on arrival.
